Character：
為淺黃至棕色透明或牛透明黏稠液體或白色至淺棕色粉末或顆粒。易溶于醇、乙醚、石油醚、氯仿、苯，難溶于丙酮、水、乙酸酯。有吸濕性。在水中膨脹而成膠狀液。遇空氣及光線顏色變深。半數(shù)致死量(大鼠，腹腔)122mg/kg。有任何pH下均以兩性離子狀態(tài)存在，所以具有表面活性作用。
