廣泛分布在哺乳動(dòng)物的組織中,尤其在肥大細(xì)胞及有關(guān)嗜堿性白細(xì)胞內(nèi)(在變態(tài)反應(yīng)中肥大細(xì)胞釋放出組胺)??梢越M氨酚為原料發(fā)酵制得。它是變態(tài)反應(yīng)的藥理介質(zhì),能引起血管擴(kuò)張、毛細(xì)血管通透性增加、平滑肌收縮。支氣管平滑肌收縮能使動(dòng)物呼吸困難,并能刺激胃液分泌。在體內(nèi),組胺為組胺酶和咪唑-N-甲基轉(zhuǎn)羧酶所滅活。在中樞神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)中的某些部位,特別是下丘腦含有組胺,它存在于突觸體內(nèi),可能是中樞神經(jīng)的一種介質(zhì)。它還可能與外周神經(jīng)的感覺(jué)及傳導(dǎo)有密切關(guān)系。以檢查胃的分泌機(jī)能。可由組氨酸脫羧制成。醫(yī)療上主要利用其促進(jìn)胃酸分泌的作用。
